    AMS Athlon 64 3700+

    Replaced existing Athlon 64 3500+CPU in a HP DX5150 model. My only reason was the increase in the L2 cache from 512 kb to 1 meg.It was a very easy exchange having a lot to do with the way HP designed this system. I have been using this CPU for about 2 weeks and have had no issues. Because of the ease of installation, I may look to buying a dual core CPU and swapping this one out again in the future. My unit is not used as a heavy gaming unit, so the current setup fits my needs and works great.

    a great deal .....

    I bought this CPU thinking that mine wasn't working , but it was my mother board that went bad . The mother board is discontinued so I am not using it as of yet ....

    Nice upgrade....

    Bought this to replace a 3500+ in my compaq presario.The 1mb L2 cache is a great performance boost over the 3500+ 512 L2 cache.

    AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 2.2 GHz

    This is one of the best 939 cpu's that you can get.You can overclock it past the 4200 cpu,and save on the cost......
