We ordered this product for a ladies' night to make plaster casts of our hands to make Halloween decorations. The pre-measured bags were perfect and the product was exactly as expected--fun and easy to use and very easy to clean up. The alginate sets in about five minutes, so while it may be a little long for younger kids, the payoff is great for someone who can stand still that long. Molds can also be used multiple times (so if you mold your hand, you can make several plaster hands from the mold), which makes the value for money even better. Fun with Medical Required Body Casting
The use of this product to make a cast of swelling or changing body part and analyzed with a 3D laser scan to compare previous casts to document changes makes an extremely effective and cost efficient demonstration and documentation for medical diagnose and treatment , it is also a lot of fun to work with.

Worked great and buy again
It worked like post to. Used cold water for longer set time. Turned pink then slowly turned white as mixing. Check it for thickness, as it was setting up. Then placed object in it and let set the rest of way. Came out with good detail. Make sure to remove any lose pieces before casing.
