    I have a pair of Sennheiser HD820, the sound of Fidelio X3 is as good (a little different in sound signature but as good). The HD820 is more comfortable to wear but it is to do with the pads. The item is brand new. At least I cannot tell the difference from being B/N. Easy enough to drive by my LG V60 (my DAP at this moment) and desktop Creative X5 and you won't tell the difference. Equalizer can tune the F/R but the sounds is already good enough. Looks awesome too. Great value for money.

    My headphones arrived in about a week. These were listed as open box. The box was indeed open, but everything--the headphones, accessories, and manual--was in there. The headphones looked and smelled clean--they had that factory smell. They sound great. The cables worked. There were no problems with them. I'm happy with my purchase. I would buy from them again.

    Seriously underrated headphones

    First of all, I got these refurbished, and I'm so glad I did. They look and perform like new, but at a significant discount from new. As for the Fidelio X3 itself, I had my doubts before buying these because so much praise has been heaped on the previous iteration, the X2HRs, while the response to the X3s has seemed more muted. Well, coming from someone who hasn't heard the X2HR, I can say that I love these headphones. The soundstage is wide and lends a feeling of space and airiness to the music. The X3 resolves well and is very clear. The bass is clean and present but isn't as hard hitting as I imagine the X2HR's to be and that's a good thing to my ears. The mids are not as forward as my my Drop HD6XX headphones, but for genres of music like classical, this actually provides a more ...

    These open back headphones—from a company (Philips) rightfully respected for its Fidelio line of headphones and speakers. They are rated “high resolution”—and they are. They effortlessly reproduce the entire audible spectrum. NOTE: Their bass response is not artificially boosted. If you are a “basshead,” get some Beats, instead. FIVE STARS FOR QUALITY AND VALUE

    Great sound to great price

    Good sound, although it is not as flat as others mention, more focused on the treble, incredibly light and weigh nothing. I don't hear the sibling issue other reviewers mention and I don't notice the distortion issue either.
