    Awsome tool

    Tool came in and on time. I studied the tool information before hand so when it came in I was ready. I tested a door window motor and found out the motor was bad in 10 minutes and the switch was good. I just wish the cable had a break in it at about 10 ft so when you don't that much cable it's not in the way and a few more test ends in the master kit or gold series test leads like male and female spade connectors the tungsten tip and extender plus a connector to plug into the lighter plug. The only drawback is the before mentioned items. James Summers

    Its okay but...

    This device helps you identify if a wire is to negative or to positive, and if neither is shown, then its not getting any contact. It helped out in some cases, but I have to say that when I tried the ECT3000 on an obd2 port, some pins would not interact with the device. I don't really understand why, with that being said it works for a lot of things, but not everything.

    Made in China

    I am still learning to correctly use all of the Power Probe functions. Made in China, instructions are well written, low quality plastic case is to small and one of the tools falls out of place. I recently used the tracer to locate an open wire to a sensor. Because of manufacturers origin the quality is suspect.
