    This remote was a new direct plug in replacement, but internals are not the same as the original. The remote is Chinese built. It looks very similar to the original on the outside. The buttons are wired backwards. The buttons that raise the chair up and down actually control recliner . The buttons that control the recliner actually raise and lower the chair. Still not complaining as long as the chair works again.
