This atlas features outstanding full-color photographs of actual cadaver dissections, with accompanying schematic drawings and diagnostic images. The photographs depict anatomic structures more realistically than illustrations in traditional atlases and show students exactly what they will see in the dissection lab. Chapters are organized by region in order of a typical dissection. Each chapter presents structures both in a systemic manner from deep to surface, and in a regional manner. This edition has sixteen additional pages of clinical images--including CT and MRI--that students can compare with cross-sectional anatomic photographs. Many pictures have been electronically enhanced or rescanned for better contrasts.

    AWESOME!

    The book is really helpful for looking at real cadaver pictures and knowing the actual human body. It could definitely go into more depth on some of the pictures - for example, some muscles only have one example in the book and it is not helpful when you are being asked to look at things from different angles. It would also be helpful if the book offered some diagrams of particular muscles sections here and there. The Netter book does this but it is drawn pictures rather than photos. Both would be ideal. IN all this book is very helpful and if you're taking anatomy you can likely get the extra information elsewhere.

    Clear and to the point

    The pictures are very clear and big. They come in handy during dissection! It would be nice to have a little more textual explanations of structures but I d not regret buying it because it is so helpful. I bought it to help me with human dissection, it was among several other choices but my teacher recommended this one. I like it very much. Good Buy!

    i bought this book for my anatomy class. pictures are acurate and easy to use for the class. pictures are really helpful than drawings.

More to explore :
