Golf cart trailer hitch
The quality is good and fits perfectly but the size of the box steel is much too large. The opening is the correct size but that is just the opening which is welded on the tube that is too large. I fitted thick steel plates in from rear of the tube so as to keep the hitch from rattling so much. It is a great receiver just needs the receiver tube to be the same size as the welded on opening. I do recommend this hitch receiver just know you have to shim it up to keep it from rattling. The quality is good and fits perfectly but the size of the box steel is much too large. Great part had to do some custom work to the trailer hitch to make it work the choice was cut a piece out of my back bumper or cut a triangle piece off the back part of the trailer hitch. All the holes lined up perfectly with the brackets if they did what I did in the factory the model I have it is 2009 E-Z-Go rxt gas. Adding photos to show you what I did to make it fit perfect. Receiver fits perfectly but not the hitch itself
The hitch was simple to install and fit perfectly. The actual hitch that holds the ball is a different story. That part that goes into the receiver does not fit tight or snug but loose. The hole for the ball is very large and needs a filler or bushing to accommodate a standard diameter thread. Since I will not be pulling anything heavy I don’t think this fit issue matters. I would buy it again knowing this minor issue. Excellent value for the money. The hitch was simple to install and fit perfectly. The actual hitch that holds the ball is a different story. Golf cart seat receiver hutch.
I initially installed a receiver hitch under the back of my cart and purchased an extension to run under the back seat. Due ri the extension weight, you need extra support under the foot board. Instead I suggest using this one. Less expense, easier install and better overall performance.
