    Beats bike store price

    The shifters work perfectly and were about 22 less than the best price I got from a couple of bike shops in the area. It was a hard to find item also. some only sell this type of shifter with the brake handle. that cost more. I wanted them separate.

    SRAM x4 trigger set

    I just installed these triggers on my bike, the right trigger (1-8 gears) and the wire came frayed up in the plastic housing that holds it all together. This making it nearly impossible to shift into gears correctly. Taking it to a shop to get a new cable installed in the housing to replace the old frayed one. Overall good product but they really should take there time when assembling the cable and housing together.

    Sram shifters

    These shifters work great. Both levers are thumb push instead of the index finger trigger pull I was used to, but nice and crisp with short travel. I like them a lot for being on the lower end of the money tree. They did not work work my shimano rear derailleur as tyre gear ratios were different, so had to get a sram x4 rear derailleur for it to shift right. If I had known that I would have gotten the full shifter with front and rear derailleur kit for like $50 that is listed. But my LBS had a used X4 for$15, so it works.

    Bought to replace the one on my bike because the shifter number and clear plastic housing was missing when I bought the bike. Everything installed smoothly and looks great. You wouldn't even know it had been replaced!

    Didn't work for me!

    Purchased as replacement for shifters on an 8 speed Mt bike. It may show 8 speeds on the shifter, but it covers the range of an 8 speed Shimano cassette in 5 clicks. It's unusable for me. I'm now looking at a full 9 speed upgrade!
