Lightning Quick Shifting Super Light Weight Shift Brake Levers
Going from Ultegra Levers and Rear Derailleur, as I did, was a breeze and even better it took me less time to align the Derailleur than it did with Ultegra. These Shift Levers do not use both the brake and shift lever to shift gears and because of that you have to get use to the single shift lever operation, but really it took me a matter of seconds to get use to them. They shift down to smaller cogs (higher gears) with very little push of the lever and the shifting is very precise and snappy. Pushing further on the shift lever will shift up to the larger cogs (lower gears) and this is what takes a bit to get use to. If you’re a seasoned bicyclist this isn't a problem truly. The lever cable routing is very nice as you can choose either side of the lever housing to channel you cables ... However one thing I had to re-adjust before I wrapped my bars with new tape was the position on the bar for these levers which needed to be moved from the 3.5 mark on my handles bars, that the Ultegra’s were mounted at, to the 2.0 mark which gave me the same geometry and comfort as my Ultegra's did. So I would suggest if you switch to these from Shimano that you ride your bike before wrapping the bars and save yourself from the rework that might occur. I really liked my Ultegra gear but I just love the new SRAM Red 22 gear and it is made in the USA which for myself is even better.

Super light shifting action and great brake feel. Shifting is extremely crisp. Pair it with Red front and rear derailleurs for best results. Front derailleur action is fantastic. Comfy hoods.

Graphics were updated to conform to the eTap logos. The shifters look really nice and feel comfortable. Make sure to get nice cables for the best shifting performance (a must at this level)
