About this product

Product Information

The Neopets online world of virtual pets pounces onto PSP as a fantasy adventure inspired by Gauntlet and The Legend of Zelda. Players can choose between four cuddly "petpets" as they attempt to locate the fabled Wand of Wishing that will save the enchanted realm of Neopia. Combat takes place in real-time as players master an assortment of weapons and magical attacks to defeat enemies from a top-down viewpoint. Each character is individually rated in such areas as strength, health, and defense, but attributes can be improved over time by finding special medallions. Players will adventure through a series of themed areas, each populated by a boss creature from the Neopets universe. Among the featured environments are snowcapped mountains, arid deserts, dank catacombs, and more as players search for over 800 items to assist them in battle. WiFi support is available within a special arena called the Battledrome, where players can pit their favorite petpet against friends to compete in various challenges.

    Kiddie graphics but not kiddie game play

    I am one of the adult fans of Neopets so naturally when this game came out I felt compelled to buy a PSP. Once I started this game I realized that it incorporated a lot of Neoitems as well as the different colors your petpet can be. The graphics are very kid friendly--bubbly and cutesy. However the game play is somewhat challenging. That's what makes it so fun though. If you're a fan of Neopets, you're going to love this game. Even if you're not that informed about Neopets, you will at least like this game enough to play it once. I think, in comparison to the PS2 Neopets Darkest Faerie game, this doesn't leave as much to be desired. I definately think it's one of the best games on PSP, especially if you're into adventure/role playing games.

    Love this game!

    i owned this game previously, but sold my psp cause i wasnt using my psp, so sold the game! But i missed the game so much, i have bought another psp and this game again! I am 27 years old by the way, and it has kept me amused for hours on end! I have loved neopets since 2001!

    Tons of Fun

    This game is tons of fun! It's cute to see the petpets have an adventure of their own and the kids absolutely love it. There are many exciting and great adventures. The graphics are wonderful and it gives fantasy world a whole new meaning. The game is so addicting you don't want to put it down. I give it an A+++++. I highly recommend anyone to buy it!

    A GREAT GAME

    I have had PetPet Adventures for one day and I'm already hooked, I absolutely love it. The adventure is great and it's not so childish that adults can't enjoy it. I would highly recommend this game to anyone like myself that's looking for a fun nonviolent game.
