I am replacing the existing GMRS radios on my farm. I purchased this one, along with several other brands, to see how they perform. This radio is already in the lead being the only one that’s waterproof.
The radio feels very solid and appears to be very well constructed. The keyboard, volume and channel selector controls are user friendly and straight forward.
The audio quality is excellent. Both rx and tx are clear and crisp. Checked SWR out of the box and was pleased to see a reading of 1.1.

It has lots of bells and whistles for a gmrs radio. It would be nice if a new firmware update gives us the ability to customize it even more. The programming software sucks. I had to use a Windows 10 virtual machine just to run it. Good radio overall
