What a quality piece! I can't put this collar down and my GS need to wear it. The weight is so balanced and what a difference between this Herm Sprenger collar and a so called cheap "sprenger type" collar. The links are easy to remove and put on unlike the knock off type (I ordered a HS but got the knock off from another seller) healthypetstore is a good vendor the products and pictures match and the prices are good. If you dread walking your dog, need help training...get this collar now the results are instant. What a quality piece! I can't put this collar down and my GS need to wear it. Quick release prong collar
Disappointed in the weight and quality. I owned one in the past and this one didn't even come close to quality. I will need to search again. It works for the most part but comes unhooked easily. Very dangerous to keep my dog safe. Will need to secure it with something else. Not what I was expecting.

Sprenger quick release prong collar
I’m a dog trainer & pet care provider in the business for 31 years. This is the collar I recommend for many reasons: it’s a good training tool; a prong collar is the best way to prevent tracheal collapse that results over time from rubbing in the tracheal area; though a prong collar looks barbaric a good one like the Sprenger brand only goes up to what their mom’s moderate bite felt like when they were very young puppies when they pull with it on so that it’s actually reassuring when a dog is timid or scared; the quick release feature is safer in case it gets caught on anything. Well made but smaller than Saiger
