I AM a fan, but that does not make this cd any worse for a non-fan! On seven tracks these guys do what they do best! "The Truth" is an excellent punk-track!! Just love it especially how the beat tempo changes from vers to chorus! An then there is the their lovely balads! In Like A Lion (Always Winter) is great!! Only two of the seven tracks are punk, the rest is more quiet, but still cool! There is one bad thing, though! If I were not a fan, i would only give this cd 4/5, because there is a tiny little noice in ther back on most of the tracks especially on the guiet ones, and that can be enoiying, but for a fan like me i learn to overlistening it! So there for i still give it 5/5!! Hope this was helpful!
Shortly, if you already know Relient K, and have bought the Mmhmm album, this should be a nice EP for you to have on your collection, since it has much of a feeling of B-sides. The artwork is pretty neat, and highlights are the opening song "The Truth" and the acoustic ones. If you don't know Relient K yet, you should buy the Mmhmm album prior! It'll introduce you to the band in a more adequate way.
This CD of Relient K is really good, but when you listen to it, it doesn't take a long time, and you're back at the beginning, track 1... It's an EP, so it's a normal thing in the end. We discover another side of "Be My Escape", as good as the non-acoustic one. I recommend this CD to all Relient K fans who want to discover another side of the band and other songs....
I Love relient k!! I got it because it does'nt have all the people that talk trash beecasue there a christian band.
