Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of one shiny new Earth Federation robot-controlled battle cruiser. Before you take her for a spin across the galaxy, keep in mind that space is a hostile place. Three types of UFOs have been spotted within the area, including Hunter-Killers, Light-Speed Starships and Random-Drifting Vessels. <br><br>Your job is to pilot the new craft across the single-screen playing field in order to wipe out UFOs from all directions. Fortunately for you, the cruiser is equipped with an energized force field that can save your ship from taking damage. This shield has a limited amount of energy, however, that diminishes whenever you fire lasers or make contact with UFOs. If an enemy hits your craft while the shield is down, the game is over.<br><br>Don't worry, this force field can regenerate over time, changing from black into blue so you know when it's fully charged. You can then continue firing your lasers at the three types of enemies, racking up as many points as you can before losing your ship. UFO! will also let the highest scoring player enter his or her initials (up to six letters) with the keyboard.
