What's in your yard?
The camera takes good video when the batteries are up. That said, I think they could have made a better choice than 4 "C" batteries. It also has a problem with the motion detector. It records when the leaves move, but not when the animal is standing in front of it. I witnessed this. The smallest increment between shoots is 5 minutes. It only seems to work with a 2GB chip, also. It could use a larger chip if you will be leaving it for any length of time, like overnight. But, of course, you could just use the camera for pictures instead of video. For that, it would be quite good. I bought the camera because nobody believed I had coyotes in my backyard. I not only proved them wrong with the videos but I also recorded deer, racoons, possum, rabbit, squirrels, etc. Not bad for living in a small ... Wish I had bought both of the WildView STC-TGL51R cameras on display shelf!
Only taken 500-600 photos so far. Day and night pictures are very clear. Very happy with the smaller type camera. Very easy to set up for me (an older buyer whom has had trouble with other cameras before). Doesn't take as many batteries as my other cameras. If I were buying another camera- I would purchase this Wild View model again.

Purchased the camera to replace one that was stolen. They won't steal this one unless they have a chainsaw and cut the tree down. I like the variability to take still pictures and vidio clips. The shutter speed is a little slow, some blurry pictures at night if moving very fast. Daytime pictures are great and in color. Just put it in the woods this week, it will be interesting to see pictures in a few weeks.Purchased the camera to replace one that was stolen. Very satisfied with this line of cameras
The Wildview line of game cameras are a rather inexpensive option for observing and documenting wildlife and their habits. I have been using these products for 5-6 years and am very satisified with them. I will say however, the "lower end" line of this product line, such as the STC-TGL1, STC-TGL2IR and STC-TGL2M dont take photos of a very high quality, but the 3M, 3IR,4M, 5M and 5IR cameras do very well. Sure, there are cameras available that are much more expensive and have a lot more "bells and whistles", but why spend an extra bunch of money when the less expensive Wildview cameras will do just as well.The Wildview line of game cameras are a rather inexpensive option for observing and documenting wildlife and their habits.
