    Great system

    Very good system! It plays SNES games perfectly ... with a few minor issues. The gameplay and graphics are totally faithful & correct. If you love SNES and your system is lagging, don't hesitate to get this system. If you've tried replacement controllers, you know the controllers are very important. These are great - no complaints there. The power supply is simpler than I remember from the SNES, a simple DC adapter, that thankfully plugs in more firmly than the original SNES power supplies. For A/V, the system only plugs in with RCA - no coax splitter or (regrettably) HDMI. Minor issues: - The reset button is faulty - don't use it! It can cause power to flicker and wipe a saved game. If you want to restart on a game with save data, use the main power switch. - The ...

    Modern day classic!

    Console works wonders on every classic game I tried. It's a modern day work of art! Although I'm a fan of the OG Super nintendo, I have to admit this one is worth the money. Not to mention, it's not too old to where if you turn it on it's a 50/50 chance it might work. What a great alternative!

    More bang for your retro buck!

    the Retro Duo is a clone NES/SNES it has a pretty high compatibility list (sadly cant play Super Mario RPG :(... yet ) it can play most US, PAL, and Japanese games, though you have to play Japanese Famicom games with a converter. it can also play Sega Genesis, and Gameboy Advance games with converters who made the Retro Duo, RetroBit, and Gameboy games with a Super Gameboy, so the list of playable games on the console is MUCH higher than say for example the Retron 5 in it's current state (which i will review when i purchase that). so for the price, the Retro Duo at base it is a great value, add the proper converters and it is amazing. as far as the controllers for the system however, it is up to how comfortable you are with a SNES controller, I personally love the ones provided and will ...

    The girls love it because it has both snes and nes Slots, That way they can play both games. It has fun games to play with since its got both slots, They don't have to play oneor the the other, They can play either game snes or nes games. above all this is a great game system to play.
