It was unused and had no physical marks or signs of use. Crystaldisk reported zero power on. It switched on and working flawlessly. No abnormal sounds heard. Got a copy speed of 250-300 mbps while copying a 60 gb remux file through a USB 3 HDD enclosure. Ordered a second drive now to run in RAID. Top seller! Recommended!

External condition was excellent, installed into a multidrive bay and it registered as 12TB 6Gbps SATA device. SMART checks for "New: other" were unexpected, 12506722624 LBA's written, 466326084 LBA's read, Raw Read error rate of 12009136 and 8 reallocated sectors, but no errors logged and passed conveyance test OK. I have formatted a whole disk partition as ext4 without issue and it's 56% full already. Second drive now on order - thanks.
