    Not living up to expectations

    I have given this heater a full week to work... Sadly it's not doing anything but taking up space. Works intermittently and my Betta is not a happy little camper. Have ordered a different brand hopefully it will be what I thought this one would be --dependable.

    Works great!

    I put underneath about an inch of gravel. My betta aquarium is about 3/4 of a gallon. Stays about 76 degrees on the cool nights. If its a smaller bowl use a timer. On my other 1.5 gallon tank it works OK. If its a pretty cool winters night you may need a little bigger one.
