I bought this monitor for when I charge RC Lithium Polymer batteries which sometimes can catch on fire. I can now safely charge them outside and with this baby unit, I can hear the charger when it tells me the batteries are ready. I like that the receiver part has the option of using the included AC adaptor cord or batteries. I use this at about a 20-40 foot range and it works well for me so far. my experience with this product
I get it to work once then turn it off and it doesn't work again, all it does is beep. I am in range and can even be in the same room and can't get it to work. I bought it for my 89 year old mother so I could hear her at night if she needed me.

I give you 4 star only because the item said that it has a 900ft range, but from the room that the baby sleep to the kitchen is less then 600 ft and the monitor keeps beeping out of range, other then that its a great product!

Great little monitors! No static at all!
My kids aren’t babies anymore per say but at 5 and 6 they are sneaky! We hear all we need to when they are up in their rooms! They just think we can hear through walls when we hollar up the stairs, “oh no you ain’t throwing your toys out the window!! That’s not a fun game!” Or, “Your gonna do what to her if she don’t help you clean your room? You come down here right now buddy boy your not gonna talk like that to your sister!” We laugh our heads off most of the time and then act real stern just to help them see they are not being overlooked.
