Bushnell is the recognized market leader for rangefinders and the latest model does not disappoint. It is light, compact and easy to use. It has a feature that lets you know it is finding another object in addition to the flag. The jolt technology gives you the feedback that it has found the prism on the flag. It does every you would want in a rangefinder.

Can get repeat readings after 3-4 shots.
Worked as described but hard to hold steady on the pin from a distance. Variable readings if you’re not right on the pin. I had to shoot distance 3-4 times to get a repeat reading. Also impossible to use on a hilly course. GPS has been a much better option for my situation.

Quick-Easy-Accurate
This range finder acquires the target quickly. It is accurate (I have friends I did side-by side comparisons with on the golf course, they had different range finders). There was no necessary set-up out of the box, point and shoot basic use! It is comfortable in my hand (a larger hand), and so tolerates shakiness better. I really appreciate the dependable "jolt" letting you know you are on target. Very happy after several disappointing/frustrating range finders. If you don't need slope or other extra features, this is as good as it gets.This range finder acquires the target quickly. Great rangefinder, works well with glasses.
This is my first rangefinder, so I don't have much of a comparison, but from my initial few uses, this has been an excellent rangefinder. I have already found that my estimates of distance are way worse than I would have thought, especially at the 100-175 yard range, so this has helped immensely in club selection. The pin lock is really nice, though I find sometimes it's best to take a couple readings to make sure there isn't some other object getting confused as the pin. It's also very easy and intuitive to use. I wear glasses and have had no problems using the rangefinder. The carrying case is really nice as well. Also, very lightweight and compact while still feeling comfortable to hold.
