    Great tool when clearance is an issue

    This tool is useful to undo the tappetoil screen plug if your bike has a clearance issue, like an exhaust crossover pipe. It is the size of the stock tappet oil plug and permits the use of a 7/16” SAE wrench to provide leverage and downward pressure to remove the plug. The tool is also handy for achieving the proper torque when reinstalling the plug. One caution, however, is the tool may not work so well on a tappet oil screen that has been over- tightened when you go to remove it. In this case, the tool made by V-Twin will likely work better.
