About this product

Product Information

This portable version of Rock 'n Roll Racing is based directly on the 1994 SNES and Genesis games of the same title. Players race one of five large-tired hotrods through seven winding tracks, viewed from an up-close isometric perspective. Winnings can go towards the purchase of vehicle upgrades. The game's edgy style is emphasized by forgiving physics, powerful vehicle weaponry, and an old-school rock soundtrack. Two players can race head-to-head in this version, using a GBA link cable connection. The original Rock 'n Roll Racing was created by Silicon & Synapse, the company that evolved into powerhouse PC game developer Blizzard Entertainment. This 2003 GBA version is the second game to be published under the Blizzard Classic Arcade label.

    Racing nostalgia

    This is a classic 3/4 perspective racing game that was originally on the super nintendo. Easy to control, graphics are great (for its time) and the music is synthesizer hard rock . There is a hidden character i don't reccomend using til after you have beaten the game once.

    The Best Old School Racing Game!

    many years ago...i rented this game when I had a super nintendo system. needless to say i ended up buying the game...it was one of my faves. well many years later with my own kids owning DS's I randomly did a search and found a port Blizzard made for the game boy advance. the game is perfect..kids can play and adults can get lost in it...the game rules. it's simple racing with great combat...this game is still great.

    Rock n Roll Racing roars into handheld gaming.

    This is a perfect port, of one of the all time great SNES games. Not only are tho outstanding graphics preserved, but the rock and roll soundtrack as well. This is one of those games that reminded us why we bought our SNES, and it is just as great on the small screen.

    16-bit Classic

    For me this is one of the great 16-bit classics of the MegaDrive and SNES systems. Pure Rock 'n Roll! The gameplay is awesome, the graphics are very sharp and the sound! Oh, the sound ROCKS in every aspect of the game! I truly recommend this one!
