This is a HO scale (1/87th) car. By their nature, HO scale cars ned to be handled carefully. I have 12 HO scale vehicles that have the marking of the last law enforcement agency I worked for. All they do is sit in a display case and sometimes something falls off. So it just the nature of the best. That's for the No for durable. Its kinda hard for a 1/87th scale car to be entertaining. I do have a couple of 1/18th scale police cars that have fully functional lighting and siren. That's entertaining, especially with the room lights off. Now would I recommend it. YES. From Days Gone By
I was so happy to see this little Buick for sale. As a young child I watched a TV show in California called TALES OF THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL. Don't know if it had any influence or not, but starting in 1964 I spent the next 30 years in Law Enforcement. This finely details replica of the car from the show is proudly displayed on my model railroad layout.
