It is pretty much as described--a little different than what was pictured. Exceeded my expectations for sure. Frets are level, nut cut right, intonation right on. Just a little bit of fret end work; this is as good of an acoustic guitar as you will ever get for the money. (But to be honest--and you can trust me--it does not quite rise to the sound/tone of a D42 Martin). A little overboard with the false branding. However, vtha4654 is an excellent communicator and recommended ebay seller.

This guitar is fantastic. The materials, workmanship, sound,everything. I have been playing for 50 years and working on guitars for almost that long. The setup was quite good right out of the box but I did take a little off the bottom of the nut and bridge saddle. About a 1/8 turn on the truss rod and that was it. The fret ends are great. I did find one small speck of pigment in the tinted finish on the top but not big enough to bother me. Can't wait until it opens up after playing it for awhile

Delivery was good and about 4 weeks. Guitar was set up out of the box. Sound and tone is very good all the way up the neck. This is a John Maher sig, not a Clapton. There are differences. This one has a thinner neck and its rosewood painted over to look like ebony. Frets are thin but level. Real rosewood that sounds good. Good bracing internally. This is not a guitar center Chinese garbage guitar. Although its made in China they used the Martin spec. Very bright and loud tone. For $380 great!
