Murder at 1600 (VHS, 2001)
There has been a murder in the White House. A beautiful young woman who had just had sex with the president's son was found dead in a lavatory. White House Security (Secret Service) has called in the D.C. Police. Wesley Snipes is a detective and has been assigned the case. According to the Secret Service, the first family was not in residence at the time of the murder. Eventually, a janitor is arrested and charged for the killing. A female Secret Service Agent doesn't like the convenience of the arrest and confides in Snipes her suspicions. Head of White House security is uncooperative and surly. Everybody is trying to tie up this case a little too neatly. Snipes finds out that the President's son was dating this woman and that he was at the residence when she was murdered. All kinds of ... The language is a little rough at times (for no reason) and the action scenes would suggest that someone other than the Secret Service was running security. Still, it was an enjoyable movie.
