  • Great music for all ages!

David Crowder is a unique style of music. Either you love him or you hate him. This is one of his best cds. Down home music with his own special twist. This is one cd you will have a hard time sitting still through. It brings back memories of childhood and yet is appropriate for today. It is worship music at its finest and yet inspirational but not according to what one normally classifies inspirational. The music is geared for all ages. You don't have to worry about offending Grandma, your teenager will love it and even 5 year old Jr will sing along. All in all a totally unique style of music with a fantastic message worth sharing. Highly recommend.

  • More great Crowder music

This is just another example of why David Crowder is one of the greatest Christian songwriters of our time. The album almost plays like a story. Almost every song (with the exception of the ones that are there for entertainment only) can stand alone as a great track, but when you listen to the entire album together, start to finish, without skipping anything, it's then that you really understand what a wonderfull and well thought out piece of work this album is. Crowders quirkey since of humor is found on the last track as well as in several areas in the cd sleeve. This cd is well worth the money.

  • Typical David: Mixing it Up!

David Crowder Band has been known for each album being different than the one before it. Their newest project, "A Collision," is no different. Somehow they squeezed 21 tracks totalling 83 minutes of audio onto this CD! There are several off-beat tracks that aren't really "songs." Several songs are based on retro stuff that throws you back to the early 1900's. Overall, the songs are a little dissapointing compared to what DCB has cranked out in the past. However, three tracks stick out to me. The up-beat tempos and solid lyrics of "Foreverandever" and "We Win" are good enough to be singles. The slow, thoughtful song "God Where Are You Now?" is perfect for reflection; it is reminicent of "Stars." Final Recommendation: Listen to a friend's copy before buying.

  • A great CD

I loved most of the songs on this cd. I really like what this band stands for, I also liked that there were different types of music on this cd. I gave this CD to my neice when she finished school. It was all she listened to for a while.

  • A Must Buy!

This is my first DCB CD and having listened to it only twice I can tell you it is excellent. There are not many CDs which I immediately like; usually a CD has to grow on me. Not this one. What I like is the unique sound, intelligent lyrics, messages, as well as the deep undertones that are present on many tracks. Headphone listening is a must. Although classed as Christian rock this album is quite eclectic and is not too heavy. Don't be dissuaded by the unusual songs. It has as many mainsteam tracks as a regular album with the eclectic additions thrown in.
