  • Awesome and Powerful True Story

This is a movie that held my attention every second of the way. I'm glad I had read the book before viewing so I could follow all of the sub-plots, but the casting and acting were so outstanding that even those who aren't familiar with the story will enjoy the fast-paced duel between the co-stars. The horrors of war cannot be overplayed and after seeing this film I have an even deeper appreciation of what it means to live in a free country. I highly recommend this movie!

  • The Scarlet and the Black

This is a must movie for Catholics and Protestands alike who would like to learn of this wonderful Priest and his fellow Priests, nuns, and others, who helped people escape Rome during the Nazi occupation. Gregory Peck is outstanding in this role.

  • Great movie!

This is one of our family's all-time favorite! It is based on a true WWII story of a priest who risked his life to help people escape from Italy.
