Great performing modem
This is a great cable modem. I was quickly able to set it up over the phone with my ISP (WOW). The setup in my case consisted of providing the MAC address that's listed on the modem. Since the modem was setup the modem has been very stable and performing as expected. I haven't had to reset the modem since I had it. I purchased this also to future proof myself with the docsis 3.1DOCSIS standard and this modem supports up to 2.5Gbps speedThis is a great cable modem. Arris S33 Router
The modem hooked up quickly to my Comcast internet. I have a 1 Gigabit plan and am getting download speeds over 900 Mbps, limited by my Gigabit Ethernet ports. My router does not have 2.5 Gbps ports so I cannot utilize the full potential of the 2.5 Gbps port on the S33. Perhaps later!

I love this new modem!
I bought this to replace my Netgear CM400 because I was upgrading my Internet service to 300 Mbps. It was easy to setup with Comcast. Activated online and didn'thave to call Comcast. Didn't really need a DOCSIS 3.1 modem but thought why not since I may need it in the future.
