    Works well with 220v - 240v circuits

    Just returned from a 10 day trip to Rome, Italy where I tried out my brand new charger for my Braun electric toothbrush. It worked well with the customary 220v - 240v electrical circuit one commonly finds in Europe. The toothbrush took at least 15 hours to fully charge, but then I also find the charging time in the USA using the customary 110v - 120v charger to take at least as long. Although this 220v - 240v charger elimates the need to use an electric converter, you still need to bring your adapter plugs, as the large round pins on the plug may be suitable for Germany, but do not work in Italy which uses the narrower round pins.

    Worked well in France with an adaptor

    I believe this was a product made for German sockets. When I tried to use it in France last week, it did not fit the socket (prongs too thick). A standard travel adaptor solved the problem. The charger worked very well, and I'll always carry it for future travel.

    Doesn’t charge

    It looked new but it fails to charge. Tried multiple outlets and 2 toothbrushes. The toothbrushes charge on my other charger. This on3 is defective
