    I have several Jacques Pepin cookbooks and I love his books and videos. But this book tops them all. In words and pictures, Jacques guides you through tons of techniques and tips. Just a quick perusal of this book will make you better in your kitchen. It's best not to try to read it all at once, but use it as a reference when you want to know the best approach to the tasks you need to complete to make your favorite dishes or expand to new recipes. Let Jacques and this book be your guide.

    This book is Fantastic!!! My father loved cooking and being raised in France he cook great. I too love cooking and have found several ideas in this book that make cooking fun and interesting also making the presentation of the meal over the top. Several of the things he does have helped me with the way I do things making them easier and faster. I'm very happy I purchased the book and have had several people ask to borrow it. This is one book that I will not let anyone borrow.
