I have paired this Marantz with a Lexicon processor and I now hear things I never heard before with my Onkyo system. The sound and power are perfect. I recommend this as a 5.1 system amp and it is easy to add another 2 channel Marantz amp for a 7.1 system. I recommend ensuring your speakers can handle this upgrade. Not really had a chance for enough "burn in" time but so far sounds great. Lots of power for my inefficient Mirage OM28 speakers. No hum, and build quality seems excellent for this Chinese made piece.
