Extra cost for programming.
I went to two different locksmiths to program this fob to work with my Explorer PIU. Both were unable (they had lost their automotive guys) and they referred me to Batteries Plus. I went there and they spent a good deal of time trying to program it, including several calls to their in-house Ford experts. No luck. I called the local Ford dealer, and they told me the cost to PROGRAM a remote that I had already bought was $156!I went to two different locksmiths to program this fob to work with my Explorer PIU.
