Until The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released, I never had the privilege of experiencing an Elder Scrolls game. After well over a hundred hours of gameplay on Oblivion, I decided to rewind a bit of the story and purchase The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. I bought the Gold Game of the Year Edition because it includes expansions that were previously only released for the PC version of the game. The graphics are fairly substandard compared to Oblivion; however, the graphics engine used in this game is what made the development of a masterpiece like Oblivion possible. In addition, many easter eggs included in Oblivion require a knowledge of the province of Morrowind. This alone should make Morrowind a must-play for all those Oblivion lovers. If you call yourself an RPG player you should place this game on the top of your list to experience. It's an oldie--but a goodie.Read full review
i originally bought this because i had played oblivion and it caught my eye with werewolves(which i hope they bring back in skyrim!!) that was only the reason why i got interested in it though. the graphics are pretty suckish for 2011 but back when it was made these were the cream of the crop. the game has so much depth that you could play for 500+ hours and still not find everything that there is to find. what i like about it over oblivion is that the towns and cities are rendered with the wildlife areas so that you dont have to load a new area every time you want to enter a city or if you forgot something that was on the ground just through the gate(this is from a personal reference) they get way detailed when it comes to weapons and magic and things of that kind. and as i mentioned earlier if you have the bloodmoon expansion on pc or (goty) for xbox like i do then you get to fight this whole werewolf against village war and you get to pick a side which of course i chose lycanthropy over being a mortal.:P i still mostly had fun with the loodmoon expansion but the entire game is definitely worth it. it kicks oblivion's a** with detail for sure and the magic has its ups and downs from oblivion. i honestly like the fighting system in oblivion more but for everything else(except main story, morrowind storyline is boring) morrowind is the best.i still havent gotten to tribunal though. for those who have read this entire rant i thank you for having the patience to deal with my bullsh*t for several moments.Read full review
Morrowind has to be one of the most unique Role Playing Games ever created, it contains so many elements never before seen even to this day. Despite its age and highly clunky gameplay, it still tramples over most RPGs with its many, many choices, from deciding whether to be a heavily armored, spell slinging Breton or even a quick-on-your-feet, heavy hitting Nord, so many possibilities in this amazing open world game. Not only does this game offer up some truly lengedary moments for any gamer out there it also sucks you in with it's beatiful and rich history and lore which you can read about in the abundance of books throughout the world, enough to fill a small library, or just talk to the characters of Morrowind, but if that doesn't interest you then just go find a cave to rid of bandits or skeletons from a tomb, this is a game that's hard to get bored of.Read full review

My son has been wanting this game for sooo long. When we received it the box was in very good condition. There was a slight scratch on the disc. But it worked fine. Kid is happy, that is all that matters. Great Price, Great Seller.

I like how there are many different outcomes no matter how many times you play this game. At one minute you can be fighting a monster and the next killing a soldier. The idea is that you can pick from a variety of characters. you can build up the characters stats any way you prefer. you can pick to be a fighter, a thief, a wizard anything you want. become a cleptomaniac, or collect enchanted items or become a supreme alchemist. overall this game is hours of fun and entertainment
