    Book Has Been Gutted

    Past fans of the "100 Best Stocks" series (I was one) will be mightily disappointed by the 2020 entry,. All the analysis (even the basic reporting) of the performance of the authors' stock picks over the previous year has been removed. That was by far the most interesting and useful part of the book. Also it forced the authors to be accountable. Now it is gone, possibly because the authors have now failed to beat the S&P 500 for two years in a row. How convenient simply to eliminate all mention of that. The book is now just the usual tableau of 100 "best" stocks. The "Note to Readers" at the front promises "gradually" (huh?) expanded discussions of the 100 stocks, but I see very little evidence of that, gradual or otherwise. So, to sum up, the book has been gutted and the authors ...
