Adjust your expectations
Seriously, it's a $40 wheel. You are not going to get Campy Record bearing smoothness for this price, LOL. Not the smoothest bearings, but perfectly functional. I got it for indoor trainer use to save my good wheels from perspiration induced rust and it is perfect for this.
