Great vintage fixed gear conversion
These rims are 27in,which means you are doing a vintage fixed gear conversion. I highly recommend them ! The rim is slightly wider than other fixed gear wheels, so if you are using a older front rim they match better. The rim is very true, and the Origin8 hub is super smooth. They are a great value...You will be pleased.

I was surprised to find a quality fixed gear wheel in 27" size, which is just what I needed as a new rear wheel for my fixed gear trainer. All the components in it are of good quality and the price is a bargain.

if you need a 27" single speed wheel this is a very good deal, the hub alone (sealed) would sell for over $40. easily, the rim is a strong Sun CR 18, great quality, and it is a built wheel, I checked the spoke tension and it is very uniform, a great deal for just the components, seems to me if you want to take an old road bike (27" wheels) and re-purpose it as a single speed / fixie, this would be the way to go, no fiddling with brake reachif you need a 27" single speed wheel this is a very good deal, the hub alone (sealed) would sell for over $40. easily, the rim is a strong Sun CR 18, great quality, and it is a built wheel, I checked the spoke tension and it is very uniform, a great deal for just the components, seems to me if you want to take an old road bike (27" wheels) and re-purpose it as a single speed / fixie, this would be the way to go, no fiddling with brake reach
