    I bought this to solve a problem a friend has with a noise issue he has with his solar inverter. The fan runs continuously and can be heard running at night when sleeping in their motorhome. So I decided to try to modulate the fan's speed by monitoring the inverters heat sink and using the temperature of the heat sink to control the fan speed. My tests seem to work so my next step is to fit it to the inverter and see how things go.
