Works like it should.
These magazines have been excellent from the beginning. I've had no issue's with feeding, loading or insertion of these magazines. Mags are easy to take apart for cleaning. Note; When mags are taken apart the first time, you may have to give a firm rap to the base-plate with a small soft face hammer while pushing in on the pin. The reason for this is a slight film of glue is between the base-plate and the magazine. After that the mags are good to go and extremely reliable. Original mags but sharp edges
The Magazines work great but you will want to take some Emory paper to the metal edges, especially where the thumb slide is located. I spent 1/2 hour at the range and ended up with fine cuts on several fingers. Fifteen minutes with fine sand paper took care of the problem

Have had absolutely no problems or issues with this magazine. S&W made a change in the floor plate of the magazine as they now use a one-piece plastic and aluminum assembly which replaces a two piece one. Less parts to lose! Just a little "heads up", the aluminum spring guide is glued to the base plate tab that the plate locks on. On mine the glue over flowed the base plate and I had to remove excess glue. This was very easy as the glue came off with just my fingernail. All-in-all, an excellent product by an outstanding manufacturer!Have had absolutely no problems or issues with this magazine. Colt / Walther Factory 10 Round Magazine
The Colt 1911-22lr 10 round magazine is a factory item and works well with the Walther/Colt 1911-22lr guns with this one exception, unlike the 12 round magazine that came with my Government model, the 10 round mags will not drop-out of the mag well freely and would only partially drop with the mag release. Turns out that the "thumb saver" on the 10 round mag is slightly taller than that of the original 12 round mag. The 10 round mag has a slightly larger and taller "thumb-saver" that contacts the inside of the mag well and prevents the 10 round mag from completely sliding out of the gun. My remedy, was to first remove the 10 round "thumb-saver, and using my metal lathe, reducing its height slightly, by about 0.010 of an inch. This could also be accomplished using a file. Either way, with ...
