Powerful for Mechanical brakes
I have two sets of these. minimal upkeep and adjustments once set. They also brake very well. comparable to hydraulics. use on a gravel bike and cross bike. Hydraulics could be better for stopping power, but these suffice for the power you need on a gravel road.

They do not suffer from fade as hydraulic disc calipers can as they over heat, and they are super easy to set up and maintain. These calipers look awesome and are light weight as well as low profile. Compared To 3 Different Hydraulics
I have 3 bikes with hydraulic brakes, 1 with Ultegra, 1 with MT500, 1 with MT200 and now with these Spyre mechanical brakes. These feel just as good as any of my other hydraulic brakes, I can 1 finger stop my bike no problem with my hands on the hoods. I am shocked at how amazing these work.
