    It may be a generation old but still works great!

    Even though this router is double the size of the new Airport Express, it's got a big antenna in it and works great. I got it to use as a wireless extender and it works as good or better than it's next-generation cousins (Airport Express) on my wireless network. Apple still supports this router with firmware updates. It's a great value if you can find a unit for $25 or so!

    Best these are useful in connecting wifi, setting up a sub network or lab coupled with the express you can do wifi extending and wireless bridging with easy. I'm not an apple enthusiast but the network hardware with the software is a breeze.

    I like it and it is easy. But I have to get the WiFi router for that. That what i am going to buy soon. I am sure it will work well. I have PC power G4 desktop that need airport wireless to get WiFi router together. It will work.
