    good value

    Using this kit, I can readily change the locks on our house without having to take the knobs or deadbolts to town to a locksmith and than have to go back later to retrieve them. And, as a separate benefit, I get to look at the internals of our locks and repair of replace any parts that show wear. There are way, way more pins in this kit than I need for our personal use, but buying the whole kit is still a bargain compared to the alternative.

    Schlage pinning kit

    The kit is a good value. It gives you tools to help get the lock cylinders out and to help with rekeying. However, I had to add the sizes of the pins on the lid to make the info provided more useful.

    Pin Set - Great Deal!

    This is a great pin set. I am very pleased with it. Please note though the top caps and springs are not for the F-series type of cylinders which I knew before I ordered. However the Pins and everything else will work on the F-Series.

    Not Schlage specific

    The top pins are not the T type needed nor are the springs or caps for Schlage locks. Very frustrating, I had to order these parts separately after needing to replace them on several locks. The tools that came with it are also generic and not specific. There are better kits for the price elsewhere.
