The new Estwings are still made exactly the same way and in the USA, but the sheaths are Taiwanese nylon. But yeah I’m not paying $100 for a “vintage” Estwing sportsman just because it has a leather sheath. All beat up and rotted/rusty. I just buy these sheaths and the new sportsman for like $45 bucks. Mint.
