All right, long story short: received the unit.... and it was defective out of the box. I communicated with Lekato, and, after I proved via video that the transmitter component would not charge, Kelly at Lekato Music stepped up, and promptly sent a replacement, a whole new system. I received it over the weekend, and it charged up just fine, and is working as advertised. I haven't tested it extensively but so far I'd say tone and audio quality is very good. And so...A Happy Ending.

They perform well in our professional band.
I play lead guitar in a band. I gave these a try to eliminate the instrument cable. I have been very pleased with their performance. Battery lasts through 4 hour gigs with plenty to spare. Sound quality is good. Liked them so well we added a second pair for the rhythm guitar player too.
