      Webster dictionary

      As a senior citizen I decided to buy a large print dictionary to replace my old Double Day from 1975. I was disappointed with this copy because the first two words I looked up were not in it. My old one has 70,000 words, this one only 40,000. Since it doesn't seem like it was going to serve my purpose I gave it to my 13 year old grandson.

      Webster's New Explorer Large Print Dictionary (2006)

      I am so happy to have this dictionary of the English language. The large print has made my life so much easier whenever I need to seek correct spelling and/or definition of a word. My vision = 20/20 most times however my medical conditions sometimes cause blurred vision etc. - When my vision is not sharp I just pick up this book and voila!, I am set to go. This hard cover book has a nice appearance, a list of abbreviations, a pronunciation guide, and more. It does not include foreign words and phrases, populations, mottoes and other information that you can seek elsewhere. The easy to read, sharp, large print in this book is just what I needed and I recommend it to all.

      websters new explorer-large print dictionary

      A nice dictioary seems to be something an 'average joe' doesn't invest in. Due to a bad head injury, my 'spelling bee' past, is hindered. It's frustrating to know you know how to spell a word but can't call it up. I'm so happy with this one! Large print is a blessing as my eye sight was hindered too. It's such a nice edition being a hard back and in mint condition. I searched the listings and narrowed it down to this one and the search really paid off. There were numerous that didn' compare to the discription of this one. I was so thrilled to find one that was reasonably priced! I received it promptly, as was promised. I can't brag enough on my new dictionary! Thank you so much for making it possible. Happy, celia

      This dictionary has great big bold lettering!It even exceeded my expectation for the size of letters!The worlds are very bold and an easy to find.The binder is very well made in my hard copy edition.I would highly recommend this large print dictionary for its very bold and large easy to see print!
