Never left negative feedback before. Noticed the rod was cracked where the two pieces come together when I got it I’d the truck for the first trip of use. Tried reaching out to seller twice. No response. Not saying every transaction will be bad but certainly can’t rely on getting any kind of response if there’s an issue. Good luck to all future buyers should an issue arise.

    Great Rod for the Price

    I have been looking for a float and fly rod for a long time and this rod fits the bill to a tee. The light action and fast tip make it perfect for my needs and cost $20 less than comparable rods. Very nice handle and the hook keeper is a bonus.

    Then this is the rod you need to try. The most sensitive fiberglass rod I've ever held. And it's fiberglass; you'd really have to try hard to break this thing. This is my second, may have to try rolling spawn for salmon/steelhead later this year. . .

    Havent used the pole yet due to it is winter in Michigan and Lakes and Streams are freezing/froze over at this time. However, I have many other Eagle Claw poles which I use, This pole has a different action which I was looking for

    Unique ultralight spinning rod.

    Long, limber and whippy, like a fly rod. It casts very light lures farther than my shorter ultralight rigs. Classic looks, good feel, makes me smile when I’m using it. Eagle claw still offers quality, affordable rods as well as tackle.
