Good,.but not up to Bandai's standards
After putting together The Mandalorian & Boba Fett, both 1/12 scale figures from Bandai, I decided to give the Stormtrooper a try. It was a fun kit to put together and entertaining, but it just didn't live up to Bandai's normal standards. Pros: 1. Came with 3 sets of hands, one set as a fist, the other as a pointed finger, one set a clenched hand, the other a curved grip for holding a rifle & the third set with a hand each specific to the weapons. 2. Very flexible. Can be positioned with neck/head held high, or crouched down, arms extend and are flexible enough to carry every weapon in multiple positions. 3. Came with both water decals & stickers. I applied a combination of mostly stickers with the one exception being the canister roll/fanny pack trim which I did as a water slide. The blue buttons on his chest I painted. Cons 1. The helmet had a slight gap when putting the two halves together. I ended up gluing it, wrapping a rubber band around it & using a meat skewer to tighten and let it dry overnight with a clamp on it. It still has a slight gap. 2. The belt had a slight gap as well. I needed to use a clamp to get the multi-piece belt to stay together. 3. The instructions were a bit different than The Mandalorian & Boba Fett. For example,the Stormtrooper had step 7 as assembling the first leg, then skipped to step 9 to assemble the second leg. Only later did I notice the lines drawn up to the top of the instruction sheet indicating that step 8 was listed ABOVE and it was simply to attach the first leg. A bit confusing compared to the other two kits. Overall a good kit, but just more like a B+ grade instead of Bandai's usual A grade.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pure Japanese Finesse
Excellent molding and casting, it is beautyfull, how the smaller pieces of sprue are interlocking with the larger part, just to make the whole kit more organized. This is a small detail, which figures for the whole kit is something that is the own of Japanese manufacturers, truly amazing, just like the range of movement from the exquisitly engineered joints. Now for the bad part: The white plastick is rather on the brittle side for me, and some of the joints, are flimsy a bit. I would have given this 4.5 stars for these, but the fact that wit my brother we were up until 4 O'clock in the morning, tells all the story! This beautyfu, Spectacullarly posable figure is a good ide for those, who like the franchise, or just like the overall design of the stormtrooper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solid Kit
Having built a few Bandai kits in recent months, I can safely say that this one doesn't lead the pack in terms of finished quality. That being said, this is still a great kit. The weapon selection was a nice surprise, and a base being included was a nice touch as well. My only complaint is that some of the pieces didn't fit as snug and clean as other models (gundam) that I've built.
