Synopsis
Bestselling fitness expert and beach volleyball icon Gabby Reece uses her own less-than-perfect life to deliver a brutally honest, wickedly funny, and realistic view of motherhood and marriage. So you got the guy on the big white horse, and the beautiful little mermaids, and the picket fence, and your life isn't . . . perfect in every imaginable way? You're not alone. In 1997, Gabrielle Reece married the man of her dreams--professional surfer Laird Hamilton--in a flawless Hawaiian ceremony. Naturally, the couple filed for divorce four years later. In the end they worked it out, but not without the ups and downs, minor hiccups, and major setbacks that beset every modern family. With hilarious stories, wise insights, and concrete takeaways on topics ranging from navigating relationship issues to aging gracefully to getting smart about food, My Foot Is Too Big for the Glass Slipper is the brutally honest, wickedly funny, and deeply helpful portrait of the humor, grace, and humility it takes to survive the happily ever after., Bestselling fitness expert and beach volleyball icon Gabby Reece uses her own less-than-perfect life to deliver a brutally honest, wickedly funny, and realistic view of motherhood and marriage. Ordered from USA and arrived to me in UK about 10 days later. Book appropriately packaged and mostly as described. Was missing the cd as listed but communication with the seller was friendly and polite if not a little confusing - partial refunds are only offered after you start the formal eBay return request process, they aren't capable of giving refunds after simple messaging to customer service. All in all though, great value and a positive transaction. Would interact again 👍

Unfortunately I received a damaged book, the item and the package both were damaged and it was clearly evident its appearance that it happened during transit. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.

Have ordered books a number of times from ThriftBooks, via eBay, over the years, and the transactions have always been super-smooth. It was the same way this time. Sturdy packaging for the shipments. Condition / appearance of books was even better than described. As always, an excellent value, particularly with the free shipping as well as the promotional discount for ordering three or more books at a time. Love it!
