  • Refrig & AC Tect by Whitman-Tomczyk,

Own several books on HVAC & Electical. Got this as reference for my workers & self. I highly recommend this one. To save substantial money recommend you buy an older edition. This one, the 5th, covers 98% of what we deal with every day. Well written. Makes every topic easy to grasp with excellent explanations with diagrams, photos, & examples of tools used, basic science concepts, electricity, motors, pressure-enthalpy diagrams for refrigerants, phychrometrics, ... all topics related to HVAC are completely & thoroughly presented. The index and table of contents make it easy to look up any word or topic. If you buy only one book for HVAC, this should be it.

  • Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology

The book was exactly as described. It is a good book for persons looking to gain more knowledge of the refrigeration systems. If I had to say something bad about it, it would be that there are no answers to the question at the end of each chapter. Yes, the answers can be found for the questions but then your just guessing as to whether their right or not. I was looking for more of a hands on this is how you charge a heat pump system, this is how you test a relay, this is how you change a compressor etc... more of a step by step guide. This book does touch on these subjects but not as a HOW-TO guide. That said again, it is a very good book with alot of information for someone just starting out.

  • Your the best
