    A dissapointment.

    I was hoping that this modern manual would address the areas that were lacking in the 'RED BOOK'. The official original Velocette service manual. This new book fell far short of being anywhere as good as the original book. As a curiousity it could be interesting laying on the coffee table. But as a workshop manual it simply is not the comprehensive guide that I was hoping for. I'm a cranky old codger. The book is better than I said. I always want perfection. After my initial review comments I spent more time with the book looking for reasons to like it. I did find good things . If you are a Velocette owner I recommend that you buy every book written on the subject. The Red Book. The Blue Book. The Haynes manual. The hardcover coffee table books. I have one by Rod Burris that is ...

    Repair manual for Velocette owners

    The book is basically a reprint of a workshop manual. Good for that purpose if you own a Velocette, but I hoping for more history, road tests, pictures, etc.
