Best film ever!!
Zach Snyder captured every scene in the graphic novel. This film is on of the best films I have ever seen in respect to the source material. This is the superhero film specifically for adults. IT IS NOT FOR KIDS!!!! That is not a bad thing, it makes all the more enjoyable. I can't express how much I liked it.

A very dark and intense movie.
This is a very underrated movie and shows that the old saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely." It is very dark who-done-it and makes you wonder if these are the good guys, what must the bad guys have been like. I can honestly say that I cannot remember seeing another movie like it and you really have to pay attention to what is going on in the plot. I enjoyed this movie and recommend it to anyone who wants to see the dark side of the super heros. I mean how could you not enjoy a movie that has Richard Nixon as a 4 term president. :)This is a very underrated movie and shows that the old saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely." First Graphic Comic Done Right
This was one of the best movies of the year besides Harry Potter, and an opening that has captured the best of all mediums, music, art, history. The music selection for this movie is just top notch as well, from Bob Dylan, to Simon and Garfunkel. I love the setting as well, and the little additions to how history has come to pass by means of these super heroes, Vietnam, JFK assassination, etc. Each character is developed in such depth and the story unfolds and comes together in a fascinating and marvelous way. You really get a true feel of humanity through these characters. Although they are super humans there emotions and actions are still human none the less. The difference between this film and some of Franks other work is that there is meaning to the actions and reactions here, not ... Good but long!
I went into watching Watchmen with high expectations based on previews and die-hard comic book reader's comments - I shouldnt have done that. Though this movie is good, its long and tries to cover too much ground. You really have to be attentive to know whats going on as there are many characters and a lot of depth and history to most of them. I would have like to seen this movie done with less characters leaving room for a prequel or a sequel. Other than that this movie has some great fight scenes and effects.
